On a CD sampler by Los Romeros there is the piece Improvisation on guajíras. If remember correctly this piece was recordet in 1969 or even 1963. Celedonio Romero (father & founder of L.R.) uses tapping technique. In 1993 I saw Los Romeros in Munich. Celedonio played his wonderful Guaíra with some tappings and then common technique. Suddenly he started playing by combined hammering + pulling and glissando technique by left hand only! While playing this passage for about 1 and a half minute, he had put his right hand to rest above onto the sides of the guitar. During this passage he used his right hand to play some rhythmical golpes. I had a seat above near the stage. As Celedonio started to play his "hammer passage", lots of people bowed a little foreward astonished about his playing. It was an amazing moment.
