I'm about to buy a Cort AC 12 classical guitar for R1100. (110 dollars, 100 euros or 80 pounds). Here are the specs:

CONSTRUCTION - Dovetail Neck Joint
TOP - Solid Spruce
BACK - Mahogany
SIDES - Mahogany
NECK - Mahogany
TRUSS ROD - Non-Adjustable Rosewood Bar
FINGERBOARD - Rosewood
INLAY - N/A
TUNERS - Slotted w/ Brown Knobs
BRIDGE - Rosewood
SOUNDHOLE ROSETTE - Classic Rosette
BINDING - Multiple Brown
SCALE - 650mm (25 9/16")
BODY DEPTH - 100 x 105mm
NUT WIDTH - 52mm (1 2/16")
FINISH - Gloss
PICKGUARD - N/A
STRING - Nylon Strings Normal Tension

Is this a decent buy? What else would I need for it with regards to Flamenco? I have to import a flamenco guitar if I want one.

Fit golpeadors. If the action is very high, it would be better to lower it (to 3mm or less at 12th fret.) The bridge may need to have some luthier work done to achieve this, as in the thread below. This will also lower the string height at the saddle which is also important for flamenco, ideally it should be around 8mm.

I doubt spending money for a luthier to work on the bridge of a $110 guitar is worth it. You're probably better off sanding down the saddle and nut yourself and installing a cheap golpeador to protect the top so that when you outgrow this guitar and try to sell it, it isn't damaged.

andre--if you can afford to spend a little more you might want to check out the yamaha flamenco guitar.
