Hi all, I could use some advice getting the guitar set up properly. I got myself a Camps recently which has a trussrod installed.
The action at the 12th fret is just a bit over 3 mm at the low E. I am happy with this but have buzzing strings. Big time!
If I press the strings at the 1st and 14th fret there is some space between the strings and the frets at the 7th but not much, just a fraction.
Me thinks untightening the trussrod should give the neck a little more relieve and lowering the bridge to get the action back down - voilà: buzzes gone.
Could this work? Any help is appreciated.
