Darren Hippner has elected to flood the market with blancas at a very attractive price point. Based on the 1951 Sabicas used to record flamenco Puro. The original guitar is currently in the hands of luther Arron Green. For info check here.

Definitely not known for his flamenco guitars. Curious to see how these turn out from actual players. He can be a bit hit and miss as a luthier as he bangs out guitars in high numbers though he is still a one man shop I do believe. Having had a classical of his at one time and played others I can attest to this.

Aaron Green sold this guitar about a year ago for the deceased owner's family. Aaron, who is a member of this forum, and a friend of mine also makes flamenco guitars that are heavily influenced by his experiences and studies of this guitar. I know that his guitars are high quality (I own one from 1999).

It is pretty easy to make that guitar, the plans are in an old issue of the GAL publication.

But making one that sounds like That Barbero is a difficult thing to do. Good luck flooding the market with anything close to that sound. It's quite rare.

Imposible.

Hippner must be one busy boy.
I don't know much about him or his operation and I've never seen one of his instruments but I do know that he also sells wood and deals, or at least used to deal, in used guitars as well.
A friend of mine bought a nice 1963 Ramirez flamenco from him at a very fair price a couple of years ago.
