Do not buy wood from Aukustik Wood Company in Turkey. I had a very bad experience. I ordered cypress back and sides that were stamped and sold as “premium,” but what I received was some of the worst-matched wood I’ve seen. All the pieces had dark resin throughout, and when I lightly sanded them, the resin became even more visible and darker.
When I complained, the owner responded by lecturing me about how wood cannot be perfectly matched and claimed it wouldn’t affect the sound. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. He refused to offer an exchange and even went so far as to threaten me in an email.
