Anybody owns Teodoro Perez flamenco blanca/negra guitars?
Would like to hear some views and the price/quality of the instrument.

No realtime experience here; but since I saw a video with Grisha trying out a T. Perez ( among several brands ) at GSI I noted down these builders´name for to not miss out on future opportunities for trying out.
I was very impressed by the crisp, metallic, perfectly rasping sound, and by what ought to have been great pulsation ( which for me means soft, still fast ).

That moment I thought if I was Grisha I would had not left without taking that one with me. However, Perez´ pricing parallels Conde primeras for one, and secondly some players like Grisha and PdL appear to prefer rather stiff pulsation.

Thanks Ruphus.. I did check out Grisha's video in YouTube..
I guess the Japanese artist Jin oki plays one in his concerts.. They sound really good. Any idea how to contact the luthier? I sent him a mail and yet to get a response.

You are welcome!
I have no idea how to contact them ( think its father & son(s).

It seems rather common for Spanish luthiers to be slow with e-mail response, though.
( Could be for lack of English skills, which is widely present with folks of Romance language. I know it is for some like for Amalio Burguet for instance.)

You could kindly ask for a text in Spanish from fellow members and try again with that.
Maybe that can help.

- And if you in the end get your hands on one, please post a review!

Teodoro works with his son, daughter and son-in-law.
Go to their website www.teodoroperez.com to find their email, snail mail and telephone/fax number.
Teodoro's son Sergio speaks English quite well.

I´ve checked a negra and a blanca at the Frankfurt Musikmesse this year and was highly impressed. Very crispy, strong and clear screaming sound. 'Muy muy flamenco' to my ears and a perfect setup, easy to play with a low bridge action. The negra provides a strong powerful extra push through the hole spectrum. Both guitars were singing clearly and strong up to highest fret. I would love have both of them [:D]
