This piece of Ara Malakian and Juan Francisco Padilla is quite hauntingly beautiful! Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for sharing. I listened a couple of times, but I didn't particularly fall in love with it, especially the guitar part. I would MUCH rather listen to this.

Cheers!

I like the way Ara makes the Violin sound like a dudek
The album with Jose Luis Monton is a favourite of mine

I have Ara and Monton's second album together, which I absolutely love! But I really like that piece too... there's something very special about Ara's playing, it can be so light and yet incredibly profound and heavy. Each note has flesh in it, they each have a life... Reminds me of what Deleuze and Guattari wrote about affects in "What is Philosophy?"... definitely one of my favorite musicians!

I see there are two albums
I was referring to de la felicadad.. Not sure which came first
Neglected to say I also liked the post above ..
The guitar just seemed more tentative in some ways to Montons playing, which is what I'm used to hearing..
Agree with the 'weight' of each note ..
Great music ..

Ara is a genius, but you have to see him live: he does great shows for children to show them that music is fun.

Indeed... here's an example! [:D]
