Hey – Get rid of your M and A fingers – you don’t need them. You can play tremolo, arpeggios, and scales all with just I.

kazuhito yamashita used a technique like this in one of the pieces in his arrangements of the picture at an exhibition suite where he played a continuous tremolo with various single fingers

I was thrilled to see this clip today . It has given me new confidence in the work I have been doing with an outward index flick . Tone is the real trick when attempting this style and I don't recommend this to anyone with a good tremolo or picado or to a novice player . The few things I have found is that a relaxed third knukle joint will give better tone, also to play muted to work on rhythm . I have documented many melodic exercises that I wish to share later this year when I get my little fingers on my Andy Cullpepper blanca .
Some flickado , mii (m i rests I flick) , iimii ( I rest I flick m I rest I flick. this flickado is to turn around over three notes and start decending again ), amii ( a m I rest I flick . for a sixteenth effect I haven't done much with this one ), mimi (two rests two flicks , yeah m flick , loads of fun for that muted over the sound hole ascend ). AAAAH flickado yes I am on the darkside moohahahah .
