Offering this as a review
Recently purchased
a) percussion sounds $12Au
b) DM 1 drum machine app $4.95AU
All to be used with an iPad platform
Fundamently a flamenco drum machine
The percussion sounds are imported into the DM app via file sharing
These are as templates, which can be programmed to suit your needs
The sounds are good.. Very good in fact.. No change in quality when tempo is adjusted which is the failing of Graf Martinez loops for GarageBand
They don't have the 'quacking duck palmas' ...
Plus you can alter tones, add compression , eq etc
The swing function is also a bonus giving the patterns an option of a more 'triplet' and less rigid feel
Patterns can be randomised or arranged in sequence
Files can be exported
It is relatively inexpensive ( providing you have an ipad )..and offers flexibility
But quite impressed with the sounds, editing and cost
As a metronome I prefer to still use dr compas ..or just a plain metronome
But feel this has some potential as compositional tool or as a synced tool to be used with GarageBand
