I would like to get a bit better understanding of "compas stretching", please share some links to songs(and at what duration its heard) where we can hear some compas stretching. I have heard that its mostly present in solea and seguiriyas, but maybe other palos too?
Thanks!

in this topic the focus is cante, but I put up and defend a very good example of buleria with camaron and tomatito. It is a good example because even the palmas are forced to become elastic, but it should then be obvious how it can happen so easy in forms that are just guitar and looser tempo wise.

what about the opposite where one cycle is cut by two beats or so (ex: the first long scale in cuando canta el gallo). o_o
