Ramon Amira -> RE: Marlon Navarro Vs. Francisco Navarro? (Jun. 26 2013 3:53:40)

Marlon is a fine luthier in his own right. He might easily in time equal his father – there have been such cases, notably Manuel Reyes Hijo, doubly so in his case, considering who he had to live up to. But Marlon’s not there yet – Poncho’s guitars are definitely better. Of course they cost a lot more too. I’m not sure, but I think Marlon has been building for about fifteen years, though it was only recently that he began signing his labels. Right now, in his price range, I think Marlon’s guitars are the best buy anyone could possibly find. He’s currently making a Conde copy, right down to the headstock. Ramon
