In addition to these I found Ebay UK to be a good and quite cheap way to source Indian spices (eg 100g of Cumin £2.75 including postage to Spain)

You say your friends are in Cordoba. There's a non Spanish restaurant at the far end of Plaza Corredera. I've a feeling it may be Asian rather than North African. If they're still trading it may be worth checking with them for rare ingredients.
