Damn it! I forgot to say it!

Grisha was amazing as usual, he really breathed new life into some songs that I thought I was getting desensitized to. Made me rember exactly why I loved those pieces to begin with. Did Vicente's granaina and minera which I don't think I really "got" until I saw him do it tonight, I'll be hearing them differently from here on. Amazing job Grisha, your interpretations are just supernatural, BIIG OLE!

Ruphus -> RE: Grisha tonight! (Jun. 15 2013 9:15:20)

Your inspiration through Grisha´s interpretation nicely contradicts some old silly comments on youtube that I remember, saying he was stiff / had no compass whatever.
The angry voices had obviously been judging by tanktops Grisha used to wear, and were possibly of the opinion anyway that a Russian musician should stick to balalaikas or so.

Little did they know.

Grisha; should you see this ...
I had noted down an exercise you once recommended for better separation of right hand m and a. However as my life consists of countless little notes, the paper scrap got lost.
I believe it was something like pim ima m. Would you be so kind and help me out, please?

Thank you,

Ruphus

Nicely put Len, that is exactly what I think makes Grisha such a treasure. He is a great artist and a safe pair of hands. His finely honed skills as an interpreter are driven by respect for both the original composers and his audience.I wish I had been there.
