A few weeks ago I made a comment.....it was detrimental to a long term member of this forum and provoked a few unhappy comments from other members, these were completely justified and I added no more to that particular thread. My problem was that I hadn't researched the members credentials at all . I made a unfair implication that the member had posted then removed all their posts to then watch the ensuing blood bath....I was wrong on that one....my apologies to you Anders and to anyone else whom I may have upset. Where am I going with this ? Well I think that we can all be easily capable of opening our gobs and saying what we think without taking the time to look at the carnage it may create. Its really easy to get lost in the impact of our shared thoughts, especially when often the first person we are trying to impress is ourselves......we may want to share our current intellectual moment, question another's comment, dissect an opinion etc etc etc ,all this must be typed in ASAP so as not to lose the moment ,often without a breath and very easily done without a thought for the discomfort it may cause.
Now I know this is a forum which is for healthy debate as well as for the sharing of ideas , knowledge and so on but we really should try and spend a little more time respecting other peoples right to have an opinion ,i for one am guilty for not practicing this! And not lose sight of what the 'foro'has always (from what i can see) been about.....the coming together of a bunch of strangers with a shared interest... flamenco
