Hi all, I'm an old flamenco guitarist. I started playing in 1957. I studied with Edward Freeman of Dallas, TX for 6 yrs. Later I went to Spain and learned some stuff from Diego del Gastor and Triguito. I was president of the Austin Guitar Society for a few years around 1978-1979. My professional flamenco guitarist friends were Mario Escudero and Carlos Ramos, both deceased. I played mostly for my own enjoyment but did do gigs in Washington, DC in 1995-1996 and in the DFW area in 1997-1998. I play very little these days. I am 75 now.
