I use them both, tuning fork and digital toner. For me using the fork keeps my ear in "check". what I mean by that is that is that reinforces the pitch in my ear/brain (at least that's my theory) and I can get a tuning fairly close if I don't have a tuner handy (any kind). Digital is very practical and quick, I think. I'd like to hear what your take is on this. Friendly regards.
