bandurria -> tuning fork or digital tuner (Mar. 12 2013 0:13:03)

Hello all, I'm just curious to know what your preference is or if it does not make any difference to you. I use them both, tuning fork and digital toner. For me using the fork keeps my ear in "check". what I mean by that is that is that reinforces the pitch in my ear/brain (at least that's my theory) and I can get a tuning fairly close if I don't have a tuner handy (any kind). Digital is very practical and quick, I think. I'd like to hear what your take is on this.

Friendly regards.

I use a tuning fork when practicing at home and a digital tuner for performances only. Noise and ambient music tend to mix with the tuning fork frequency tone.

I used to use a digital tuner for the electric i have .. but mainly now i use a tuning fork for the flamenco ..its better for the ears and some players used to have the 'G' slightly sharp, the digital wouldnt like that ,...
however i do occasionally used a digital online tuner when I put new strings on as they stretch a bit ....
