SOLD CONDE HERMANOS 1966 Atocha 53 Flamenco blanca (Ebay bids start at £1600) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330873297900 Scale length 660mm Width at nut 52mm String spacing at nut 44mm String spacing at saddle 57mm Action (top of fret to bottom of string at 12th fret) E 2.8mm, e 2.7mm Cypress back and sides, Spruce top Nitro lacquer (very well and thinly applied) Original tuners, somes stiffness in the G string roller but fully working Original hard case included Everything is original and works fully. It just has some cosmetic issues, which could easily be addressed, though personally I feel these add character to a 47 year old guitar which is still full of life. There are no repairs or cracks but it has playing wear and places where the lacquer is wearing away on the top and sides. Cejilla marks on the back of the neck. Edge of golpedor is coming unstuck on treble side but still functions perfectly, it doesn't need replacing. Dry, powerful, lamenting very flamenco sound. Balanced across strings, quick response. Pulsation is reasonably stiff for right hand. (This is the guitar that first made me realise why people make a big deal about Conde; great sound and it feels very good to play for both hands) It's a great guitar but I have other guitars I personally prefer to play. I don't use it enough to justify keeping it; it deserves to be someone's number one guitar. Please contact for more details or photographs. The guitar is in central London. For shipping please contact for estimate as it may be more or less than listed
