Good luck with your recovery, retraining following injury takes patience, I am sure you will be fine if you don't rush things.

At least it is your fingering hand - far less complex movements involved than the playing hand.

If you have been given no exercises I can recommend this DVD:

Daft title (Playing without practice) and ignore the references to FD, its a whole series of non-stressful range of motion and control exercises for the hands.

You obviously know this but I can't emphasize enough how important following physical therapy to tee is. I had bad shoulder dislocation problems so I got surgery, did half of the PT and went right back to Muay Thai and Ju-Jitsu which was my passion before flamenco. Long story short, I wont be back to any boxing till I get some steel rods put in my shoulder.............

I am going to start occupational therapy this week. Let's see how things go... I'll keep updating this thread hopefully with how things turn out.
