What I meant is playing those fancy little triplet arpeggios in a cierre, using only the ring finger stroking upwards across three strings, from 1st the 3rd. string. With practice it sounds pretty smooth. Smoother than using the three-finger reverse arpeggio ( i,m,a) to get the same notes.
