If you have alessi or fustero tuners for sale(for flamenco/classical guitar) please contact me. I am located in Finland and I am planning to buy the tuners in april or may so there's no rush. I will pay up to 200 euros including shipping.

Does anyone know where I can buy fustero tuners, other than the fustero website? I am especially interested in the 206 model

has anyone ordered from the fustero website? Is the service good? What methods of payment they accept? thanks

i had heard that Fustero went out of business?

i'd recommend Sloanes over either Fustero or Alessi. perform better, made better and less expensive, about 300usd, or 225 euro.

or you can go cheaper with the mid-level Gotohs, that have the lyre made popular by Fustero. to me, these are very close to the same quality as Fustero, but much cheaper, 70usd or 55 euro.

available widely, but also at stewmac.

la sonanta is overpriced and has dubious business practices. i'd avoid.

for instance, their price on the Sloane tuners i mention are 400 euros, or 525 usd. i'm sure there are import charges etc, but the same tuners are 225 euros at stewmac. half the price.

i've tried to buy a couple guitars from them, and they had some very basic problems that any reputable dealer would have seen and not tried to pass off on the buyer. i had to ship them back internationally, at considerable expense.

their in-house repair/refinishing services are pretty poor as well.

thanks for the tip. Any suggestions for good black colored tuners for under 200 euros?

yes. check these out:

i have the gold plate, black roller, black button version on a guitar, and they are excellent. work great. they are a small bit heavier than, say, the small Sloanes, but that has never bothered me.

they come in an all black model, which a friend had on his guitar, and they looked really cool. i've wanted to buy a set but don't have a reason right now.

shipping and import may cost you a little, but i still think they'll come in under 200EU. you may be able to find these locally as well.

the black rollers also have a bearing at the end making them turn really easily.

i just read that you may have to very slightly widen the holes to get these to fit, but i didn't when i installed mine.

mine are a couple years old though and may have been before this bearing addition. they do work really smoothly though.

Can sloane tuners be purchased in europe? Besides from la sonanta?

bursche -> RE: WTB: Fustero or alessi machine heads/tuners up to 150 euro (Mar. 3 2013 16:52:34)

I'd go for Rubner. Solid workmanship, I like the looks. They're precise but precision is mostly a question of how the drilling is done at the headstock.

beno -> RE: WTB: good quality tuners up to 200 (Mar. 5 2013 5:54:55)

why don't You buy a new one from alessi?
You can get pretty good ones for under 200 Eu!
I've had a rubner, that was working fine, and looked great, though wasn't as stable as a schaller on the same drills!

This guy is very lyrical about the classical guitar Gotoh 510 series (cost $300,- Cdn, feels like Rogers). The links "were to get them" leads to nothing and the website of Gotoh give all the specifics but doesn't seem to price/sell them either.

Does anyone has experience with the Gotoh 510 and/or know were to buy them?
