Hello,

Have played classical on and off for many years. Unfortunately, nerve impingement in my neck has damaged my right index finger so arpeggios are much more difficult. I'm just starting into the Juan Martin material I have and am having a good time. Although there is certainly lots of challenging arpeggio work in flamenco, I think I can manage well enough with limited facility and have lots of fun with rasgueos!

I bought a Hippner Santos on eBay and am having fun. Since I'm an equipment freak - whatever the activity - I'm sure I'll buy other instruments as I go along. Since I suffer from GAS, I'm pretty certain all the good guitars will be gone before I save enough to buy something really nice. It will be good therapy for me to wait awhile.

I've been reading on the forum and have already appreciated the comments and advice.

Welcome and enjoy your time, it's a friendly bunch if not a little fiery sometimes!

GAS stands for Guitar Aquisition Syndrome - an addiction to buying guitars!
