ORIGINAL: hubby hello everyone, i just found this forum, exactly what i was looking for and with scottish members to boot! Oh no, not another one[;)] Can't help you with the Cashimira, though that was a model I was looking at a while back. Just a quick point about the whole guitar buying thing - two words - 'quality control'. From my experience shopping around for flamenco factory guitars in the UK you simply cannot say that because one model is great that another guitar, same model, will be anywhere near as good. In fact I was very surprised how much they differred. If you are buying a factory guitar, you just have to go to the shop and try every single thing in your price range and buy the one that sings and plays the best. IMO this is purely down to the size of the market (very small). If you were shopping for a classical guitar I'd say the story is completely different - much more consistency and better quality, even at the budget end of the market. Now the good news - you are bordering on the price range of a handmade guitar. Check out Anders who hangs out here and makes a living building guitars for people on this forum [:D]. Welcome to FF.
