Conde Hermanos flamenco guitar, model A26, 2001. Spruce top, Spanish cypress back. New condition, no scratches. Made by Mario and Felipe Conde at Felipe V shop Madrid. The very resonant spruce top is perfectly quarter sawn with unusual even cross-grain throughout. Very low action with choice of three bridge bones. 750 scale. I chose this from eight of same model. Price new today is $6,400. My price $5,500. References provided. Bill Wheeler ph 858-792-1420. San Diego

Ramirez Flamenco guitar, model 1A, 1972. Cedar top, cypress back, pegs. 760 scale. I purchased this guitar new in 1972 from Mr. Ramirez in Madrid. Loud with wonderful deep tone.
$4900. ph Bill Wheeler 858-792-1420 San Diego.

Bill is a friend of mine. I have played both guitars and know they were taken care of.

Hope you allare well,

Anthony/paleto

750 scale

I think that would be 650 and 660.

I had a 664 that was a bear. I can only imagine what a 760 would be like.

You're right, Bill made a mistake.

Conde is 650 and the Ramirez is 655.

I read over his description but missed those.

"The very resonant spruce top is perfectly quarter sawn"

How can you possibly know that the top is perfectly quarter sawn without removing the bindings??

I think the description is from Guitar Salon, you might ask them.

Anyone woodworker can tell quarter sawn wood instantly. Particularly luthiers.

Look at the exposed grain in the sound hole..also width of grain is another clue.......the sound is more important than if it has a perfectly quarter sawn top...

Both of these guitars are still available.

Bill may consider a good offer..

His phone number is (858) 792-1420.
