For anyone who likes to experiment with strings, try La Bella 427 Pacesetter Elite. The trebles have a nice bright crisp sound, good for flamenco.

This model goes back fifty years, and was one of the very first nylon strings ever made, though I believe it’s been reformulated over the years. It only comes as a full set, but the basses are fine too, and the whole set is only $5.50 at SBM.
