I played alongside Aloysius for the studio flamenco student show tonight. its the first I have done some of the songs as the lead guitarist. I did the siguiriya by myself with the dancers, and lead the choreography on the tangos and fandangos (alo was too busy for rehearsal so it just ended up like this)
I kept it all really simple, bread and butter. pinched some sabicas and paco pena falsetas for the siguiriya that were fun to play. the only thing i did a bit left of centre, was I played a siguiriya section of a martinete dance in tarantos key (because i had already done a siguiriya)
the show was nothing special, but I had a lot of fun, and i learned heaps trying to get ready for it :)
