Tried to make this sound a bit flamenco. I know this singer through a friend, and he used to play flamenco, so I thought giving his song a bit of flamenco chord flavor might work.

At 0:42 is that really a D? have no instrument here, but I expect a F# minor.

Its always interested me a lot how things going on, people live and make music in the arabic-part of the world. Anyway I love the sound of the arabic language although I do not understand a single word.

Yeah, it's a D. If you listen to the original, you can hear the bass clearly, as well as the guitar chords. It's not clear in my video because I am picking up the song through the mic as it plays from my speakers. [:)]

And about your interest - you mean, in a war-torn area, how people still feel like playing / composing music, rather than just being preoccupied with more important things like staying alive from day to day?
