Hi montoya is so uncredible in this farruca ...But i am wondering what is the countinous rasgueado that he uses in it....

Tuning down a 4th and capo up high? "UNcredible" I agree.

Pup, ami down.

I dont get Carlos Montoya, I've heard albums of him accompanying and he's playing nice, traditional and on point, then all this solo stuff is like jittery staccato jack hammer mess...............

[;)][;)][;)] Funny alright, but I (still) love his sound - First flamenco I can remember hearing. Got me hooked... Late 50s. Then I heard Sabicas...And sh*t, I'm still tryin' to play that stuff. I'll never get there. [:@]

Cheers,
Dave

So I tried it. Because I wanted to be authentic to the video 😆

I tuned all the down to B and put a Capo on the second fret to bring it to D.

I don’t see how Montoya gets all that volume. He must have really hard or high tension strings.

Because my strings would not stay in tune either. So I just played along with no capo a whole step down. It’s much easier
