I went to a local concert last night where there was a bunch of different players
of different acoustic styles, from classical, folk, jazz and flamenco.

My instructor, John Gilliat, was playing duet with a player from LA , Ben Woods.

It was amazing. They did a few Paco tunes and some others. Wow ... Ben sure
has that picado down. lol

Search for him on YouTube. I met him after the show... a great guy too.

I think Ben Woods is an incredible player, I like his style of playing, aggressive. He's an acquaintance of my teacher as well. He thought I'd be into his Flametal band 'cus I'm big metal fan. I didn't like Flametal so much but his straight flamenco playing is awesome.
