is there a vid of Gerardo playing Ab/G# Bulerías? or did i just fantasise that?[:D]

i think Riqueni recorded one too, but i don't think i even dreamt a vid of that![:D]

there is some Ab/G# stuff on Miguel Ángel Cortés Encuentro vid, but Soleá and Tangos, not Bulerías

Here's another daft question - can anyone tell me why I find Pepe Habichuela so good on the ear? Is he more of a traditional player than some? I've been listening to his music and I am a fan, definitely

Because he's simply fantastic!

He has a great feel for the music. I found this quote about him a while back on Wikipedia: "If flamenco has earned its rep as an overly emotional music, it isn't going to be Habichuela who turns it around."

He is a Granadino [;)] Granada flamenco has a lyrical style... and it was my home.

Pepe's "A Mi Manuel" from En Rama was the first piece that seriously switched me on to flamenco.

Ah, that it! it's lyrical. Thanks all, I could choose a worse tocaor to listen to then. Erik's video of Manolo Franco is similar, maybe it's because I'm from a folk music background, Well, great stuff, I'm loving it
