You have the option to mute say the cajon, the other palmas track or the guitar, or turn all of them on and practice as you wish. I think thats a sick feature. There are lots of patterns too. Probably the next best thing to practice with a real palmero IMO.

Munin -> RE: palmas book (Aug. 1 2012 13:16:18) The biggest issue I had with the DVD (or maybe it was my problem?) was that the individual pattern clips all just go on for maybe 10 seconds, and afterwards they loop - but with an obvious gap of about 1-2 seconds or so, which makes it really annoying to sit down and practice with the video for a longer while. I also think he got another palmas DVD out now covering other palos (?), not sure.
