I have it but didnt use it. But I think this is a very well made DVD. You have the option to mute say the cajon, the other palmas track or the guitar, or turn all of them on and practice as you wish. I think thats a sick feature. There are lots of patterns too. Probably the next best thing to practice with a real palmero IMO.

The biggest issue I had with the DVD (or maybe it was my problem?) was that the individual pattern clips all just go on for maybe 10 seconds, and afterwards they loop - but with an obvious gap of about 1-2 seconds or so, which makes it really annoying to sit down and practice with the video for a longer while.

I also think he got another palmas DVD out now covering other palos (?), not sure.

I don't know the book, but I took Jeronimo's palmas course in Jerez a few years back - he's for real a palmero.

Why not. Interesting for everybody. But why is Alegrias missing...where the palmas are so typical...
