keith -> RE: Flamenco or Classic (Jul. 25 2012 18:44:35) the vicente sanchis 31 is the lower end factory made guitar that comes in two varieties; the rosewood version being a classical and the cypress version being a flamenco. if the wood is brown, it is a classical. if the wood is blonde, it is a flamenco.

Leñador -> RE: Flamenco or Classic (Jul. 25 2012 20:23:37) Zanboor, it is probably a classical what you have if it is not the 31F but don't fret (pardon the pun) Just slap a golpeador on it and get to work. I started learning on a Dean "Espana" which is not a classical or flamenco guitar, but it's proportions are close enough and it's nylon so I got to it. Give it a couple years before you buy a good flamenco, it helps you determine what you're actually looking for in a guitar which is different for the individual.
