If i am not mistaken, to achieve this videos will have to be uploaded directly to the channel. Otherwise whoever runs the foro channel will have no control over disabling comments. That means someone having to download and then re upload each video. This is the sort of thing I meant when I said to Doit that I'm not a big YouTube user and don't understand all the ins and outs of Channels etc. Another possible way of going could be for everybody to upload their stuff just as usual but note it in an INDEX thread on ForoFlamenco with hyperlinks. The videos don't really have to be located in the same Channel, but could be located all over YouTube. It's INDEXING that makes the whole Internet work anyway. So let's say the Forum would be called "Member's YouTube Videos" That Forum would contain Threads titled Soleares, Alegrias, Bulerias, Tangos etc etc. When you upload your latest video to YouTube and announce it on the General Forum, you add the URL to the Forum index too, along with some brief notes...eg.."A few falsetas"..."My go at Impetu"..."Solea Ras Strumming" etc etc The Index would be "comments free" ie all comments would go into the thread the user started in the General forum. The user could also provide the cross-reference to the original thread (in the General forum) by copying and pasting that page's ForoFlamenco URL so people could read any comments. Any comments left on the Index thread would be deleted by Admin, just as we did in the Challenge Entries (Ricardo Solea). That way, someone studying say Tangos, would have an easy way of browsing through a bunch of different players and stuff for education and inspiration on that particular Palo. It also keeps everything within the confines of ForoFlamenco except for using YouTube's disk space for video storage. Also, on this "Selected Videos Only" theme, I have long held the view that you can learn much more from watching another Amateur who is roughly at your own level, rather than polished performances by Flamenco MegaStars, who do everything with ease. So I would personally like to see all levels included.....and not just "complete pieces" either, but inclusive of a few falsetas or just even just rasgueado variations etc. Just some thoughts anyway... cheers, Ron
