Hi ya all. Havent played my guitar since March ish, due to a chaotic life between Germany and UK. Just wondered when I do get hold of it, will remember all those Riqueni falsetas or will I have to re learn the stuff, In the past I have noticed after a few months off my compas goes to pot. I intend to get my guitar shiped over but not my transcriptions.
Cheers
Dave

Now memory is a personal thing and varies greatly between people. Some people have good long term memory and terrible shortterm memory. Just by a pint for an old forgetful in the pub and then ask him about his wartime experiences[:D]. I cannot relate my experience directly to Flamenco guiitar but because it relates to finger muscle memory you may find you have greater success once a guitar is in your hands. If you had to write them out in tab or whatever you might find it tougher. Whatever I'm sure you'll enjoy having your guitar back and relearning will be a lot quicker. But why not take the opportunity to learn some variants?
