....then you have no right to sit back and complain about economy problems of the world and such. i don't man, choosing to do music i have always lived like theres a recession.. day to day, even tho i earn ok i blow it on dumb things lol...so it dosent effect me, its not a problem for me, its usual life... I do sympathize with you and see your frustration about the energy u put into your album and how seeing a cheque like that must make you feel...and I do think you deserve your rewards for your music and your craft...i am sure and hope that you will get it... quote:
Luckily there are still some folks that actually like to have things in their hands such as an actual hard copy of a music CD or Movie DVD, one cant fight technology ...weather you like it or not agree with it or not, its fair or not that's the way its going...i am not an advocate for it or against it, i didn't invented...its just what it is...weather i mention about it here or not...that's what out there and IMo that's the way its going..yes there are some folks now that still like them...but they are getting less and less and eventually record companies and movie companies will eliminate, manufacturing and delivery costs by taking the more convenient option ..it also means they can make the digital content available cheaper since theres a lot of manufacturing costs cut out ... hopefully they will find a way to not kill those industries and make it rewarding for the artist and keep those industries alive ( i don't know...perhaps something to do with ISP's they making a fortune from the internet and the biggest reason people get the net is to access...music, movies, games , software...seems like ISP's are ripping the biggest rewards when the attraction is something that has nothing to do with them, seems to me like it would be fair for them to share some of the spoils or pay some royalties towards the content which attracts people to use their product in the first place, imagine internet sales if there were no more even illegal music, movies, software, games on the net...)...do you think they don't know what goes on and way people want more and more download data and why they are giving it to them ? they conveniently look the other way cause they know that to do the right thing means money out of their own pockets... all people are good by nature, and noone wants to purposely rip anyone off...but when u just paid $100 a month for the net and got 500 gigs of downloads for those reasons...you don't exactly feel like you ARE getting it for free.....and don't tell me that we are getting unlimited download plans and paying 60 bucks extra for them the read the forum or email or just to read Wikipedia......at one point or another we have all downloaded something for which someone is getting screwed, watching a copywrited YouTube clip, downloading a book, an album, a tab, a movie a documentary, a picture..a software When one person is doing it is illegal when everybody is doing it , its change...and they need to figure out a way to change too and accept reality and make it work....or just declare that everyone is bad when cars were invented and it presented, comfort, shorter travel time and practicality noone pretended it didn't happen and stuck with the horses and carriages.. the answer is not to try and fight it but find a way to make it work for you...the internet has some negatives for music until they figure out a way.. but it also has some many positives for musicians one of them being that if you wanted you can get word out to about 100000000 people at a press of a button about your album or gig for free...something you couldn't have dreamed about before the internet...something that only big companies with big famous artists could afford
