But in terms of flamenco, it is more apropriate to understand C# as tonic, and this is just chord vii in the chord scale sequence. Modes are all about context, not fingerings. An alternate view would be if you use this run over a Bminor blues, the E#/Fnatural can be thought of as the flat 5 or the "blues note". But considering context, I know this run is meant to be C# spanish Phrygian. Ricardo
