Nice post Jg,

I recently learned the intro for "Muchachita Mia."
Gilberto Puente es una maquina! [:D]

Una maquina bien afinada.

I grew up listening to my parents favorite Trio, Los Panchos.
Listening to them tonight brought back so many memories, Enjoy

Mama, Papa que eten disfrutando a Los Panchos en el Cielo!

Interesting how Gilberto turned out to be he greatest virtuoso of the requinto who ever lived, and his twin brother Raul, always playing in the same group, turned out to be just a very good backup singer and backup guitarist.

Los Panchos may have it for the vocals, but I'm sure you know Gilberto's requinto break on La MalagueƱa.......!!!

I have to agree with Richard. Gilberto in his prime was just something special. Nice post Cuerdas.
