I came across this by accident on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/American-Flamenco-Guitar-Dennis-Jones/dp/B000BGQTI0/ref=sr_1_160?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1333668555&sr=1-160 The samples don’t seem to be Flamenco at all to me, just a series of vaguely-Flamenco-like noises. The titles aren’t reassuring either. Anyone know any more? Just curious.

Find it hard to hate on him really. He just seems like a fairly average guy who picked up a bunch of different stuff from different genres and does his own thing. I think he's technically okay actually (as a non-flamenco player). But it's the press that calls him a "flamenco master", it does not look like he's going around calling himself that. I guess if you're working for the Backwater Town Daily, you'll be happy to get a story like this to spin that way.

first of all i should say i live in massachusetts and know of p-town and have been there once. a story about something other than what p-town is famous for would be news in itself.
