Was a great, albeit seemingly short, concert! (Just under 2 hours, perhaps I was just wanting more). It was the same group as in the above video, minus the dancer. No singing by Vicente, but Rafael de Utrera sung his heart out. Red faced, and also changing it up in certain songs gave a different and interesting feeling. I can't remember exactly all the songs he had played, and what order, but for sure he did Tio Arango solo, Compare Manuel, Cuidad de las Ideas as the encore, Tangos del Arco Bajo. The crowd was very receptive and gave numerous standing ovations, and no one was fallin asleep (all upbeat songs), theatre was packed. I was able to intercept Vicente and Rafael as they were headin back out to their van and take pictures/chat with what little spanish I knew. Both were very cool, very humble. Vicente does this thing where he pats on you heart a couple times, as a kind of gesture, as a 'heart to heart'. I had also brought a friend who he had kissed on both cheeks as she was introduced. She felt rather blessed afterwards ^^ It was a great experience!
