Any body going? Hosting after-parties or get togethers? Party with Vicente? :P

Let me know, would love to get together with some other aficionados afterwards.

Well, I'm on the east coast and so won't be there. Can you post a review afterwards? It looks like he's only performing two shows in the US --both in California--, so I wonder if his show will be different from the other ones recently posted on YouTube, etc.

In particular, let us know if it's anything like this:

Rafael de Utrera is gonna be there, so I'm not sure how much singing vicente may be doing -_-

I'll for sure post my impressions afterwards, however I am pretty biased :p

Was a great, albeit seemingly short, concert! (Just under 2 hours, perhaps I was just wanting more).

It was the same group as in the above video, minus the dancer.

No singing by Vicente, but Rafael de Utrera sung his heart out. Red faced, and also changing it up in certain songs gave a different and interesting feeling.

I can't remember exactly all the songs he had played, and what order, but for sure he did Tio Arango solo, Compare Manuel, Cuidad de las Ideas as the encore, Tangos del Arco Bajo.

The crowd was very receptive and gave numerous standing ovations, and no one was fallin asleep (all upbeat songs), theatre was packed.

I was able to intercept Vicente and Rafael as they were headin back out to their van and take pictures/chat with what little spanish I knew.

Both were very cool, very humble. Vicente does this thing where he pats on you heart a couple times, as a kind of gesture, as a 'heart to heart'. I had also brought a friend who he had kissed on both cheeks as she was introduced. She felt rather blessed afterwards ^^

It was a great experience!
