marduk -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 4:51:08)

im taking the day off playing for class and maybe tomorrow too, and only going to work on right hand.

at_leo_87 -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 4:54:38)

wtf? can you get another angle?

marduk -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 5:14:41)

it was really hard to get that shot with my phone, when my friend visits later tonight i will ask him to take a better shot

i think its just from playing lots, and maybe my hand angle, all my fingers have it going on a little bit, but as you can see.. I am close to getting free long distance phone calls from my "ring" finger (if i can work out how ET turns his on)

at_leo_87 -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 5:16:07)

just dip it in boiling water to soften it and make it malleable and then whack it with a mallet back into shape. [:D]

no, seriously, does it hurt?

marduk -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 5:18:30)

at the moment my middle finger is hurting, you need to see a different angle to spot the lump on that finger though... it only hurts sometimes and usually only for a day or so

it feels like a blister thats stuck under the callus and has nowhere to go but sideways

here is a top view, its harder to see from this angle

at_leo_87 -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 5:24:40)

yeah, i'd take a few days off if it's hurting. you wont lose anything with a few days off but you might lose a lot if you make it worse.

marduk -> RE: is this normal? (Feb. 7 2012 5:25:36)

im just going to work on right hand stuff mainly. it should stop hurting tomorrow if i rest it.

Looks like a form of Venereal Spirochaetosis to me, Marduk...

What else have you been doing with that finger?

[:D]

cheers,

Ron

im pretty sure its just a blister under the skin, its happened in the past and it heals ok.

im getting it checked by a doc tomorrow just to be safe though
