But maybe we need a new section where luthiers can advertise their expertise, YOu already have one , it's called the luthiers section .. I think and voted for posting in the audio uploads section, as thats where the audio and video stuff goes this keeps the forum tidy , and maybe if the falseta demonstrating the guitar is good the I can steal it as well. [:D] So there are some luthiers here , these I regard as " our " luthiers and on more than one occasion I have asked a question about guitar renovation and care etc , here and always got good advice and plenty of replies .. This is good to have such a wealth of knowledge and experience on hand here. as for advertising here their stuff , I dont mind a bit , in fact I think it's good , thats what they do , build and sell and Im sure they are very proud of their creations, as so they should be , I wish I could build myself a better guitar or two. Furthermore I think the people here , whether they can afford one or not , are interested in seeing and hearing the new guitars as they come out and any innovations , wood and design changes as well. I think they should post a pic or two of a new guitar and a short vid or sound clip in the audio video section and then thats it ,, the contact and further interest etc , should then return to the Luthier section or private messages, The only thing I dont like is when a Pic is posted that hasnt been scaled down and it has to upload at a ridiculously large format that causes the page to be really big and you have to scroll around to see it .......please dont do that. AND .. I have a bit of work to do on an old guitar comming up soon , so I am being nice in the hope of posting a "help I broke something messing with things I have no knowledge of " post in a few months and will be askinga question or two in the luthiers section.
