Thanks for posting this information. Only ship with tracking, don't offer local pickup as a delivery method.

I have used PayPal a lot in eBay auctions to buy and for buyers of my guitars. To date, I certainly have 50 PayPal transactions. I learned that eBay owns them and they want the BUYER to be happy. Any disputes will be biased toward the buyer, so a seller has to have his facts and photos, etc. in good order if challenged. I have never had a PayPal complaint go against me (of 3 over the years) and I believe an eBay feedback of 100% in over 300 transactions helps me.

PayPal takes 3% from the recipient, so for a seller I trust, I will negotiate and send a personal check then wait for it to clear (mine cleared at Zavaletas really fast!) and put 3% more $ in the seller's pocket. And that helps them remember me as a buyer who respects their desire to make a profit and it's the same amount for me... either way I pay.
