Sensory representation needs to become better defined (INPUT) 2. Learning new motor patterns. (OUTPUT) It is normal when learning new motor patterns to go back and forth to the old ones, until new ones are established. (Just like anyone learning with or without focal dystonia). As said mood, diet, sleep etc.. all have an influence on performance.
