Hi Kevin and welcome to the forum. Are you using an internet translator?

Some basic things to have in mind.
You always remove wood from the soundboard and back when you scrape the bindings especially near the edges. and you always remove a bit of wood of the plates when final sanding.
I personally prefer a soundboard where the center is just 0,1 - 0,2 thicker in the center, so I assemble the guitar with plates that is more or less the same thickness all over and a little thicker than I finally want them to be and then after the bindings have been scraped, I meassure the plates with a Hacklinger guide and listen to the taptones and make the final thickness. But thats just my way of doing things.

Your posts are difficult to understand.
Turkish cypress and caucassian spruce works very well. I´ve made guitars with those woods and from the same dealer. Just dont make the soundboard to thin.....

I use good wood.[:D] I dont believe to much in these rangings and I´ve found 2nd grade wood that was better than master grade.
Grading is mainly esthetical.
Good wood is always good.

I understand most of what you write. even though I dont speak french, it helps that I speak 5 languages. Kevin do you understand my replies?.

kevinitalien -> RE: what is the thickness of the table with a flamenco guitar? (Jan. 17 2012 11:41:58)

yes I did not know there were french. . I use a translator pourtanet yes I understand that you will write anders:) apart some word but it is very understandable.
anders is ok for wood I thought the master grade was better infact I do not look so much éshtetique but rather sound good but you still have a wood lot:)

kevinitalien -> RE: what is the thickness of the table with a flamenco guitar? (Jan. 20 2012 11:49:06)

the tickness enter 2.00 2.6mm

Anders Eliasson -> RE: what is the thickness of the table with a flamenco guitar? (Jan. 20 2012 11:58:33)

Try to get the soundboard more even. 2 - 2,6mm is a lot of diference. 0,2 - 0,3mm is better
