I want to start practicing "Concierto de Aranjuez - Adagio" but I find it is hard to divide the time (I'm using Romero's transcription and I'm used to foot tapping technique). How to start? Thank you all.

Paul Magnussen -> RE: Start practicing Concierto de Aranjuez 2nd movement (Dec. 28 2011 1:12:11) There are several errors in the time indications of Aranjuez, especially in the 2nd movement, and these were carried over into the edition fingered by Angel Romero. If you add up the time values in each bar/measure, you’ll find they don’t always come to the right total.

Ricardo -> RE: Start practicing Concierto de Aranjuez 2nd movement (Dec. 29 2011 18:23:47) practice chord progression first. Lay the melody on top of your internal feel of how the chords move. It is pretty simply from the point of view of the harmonic progression in 4/4. Like improvising on a chord chart or rumba. Aim for the important notes that hit the chord changes.
