I have recently started getting more interested in learning flamenco. I have listen to it for several years but not actually put my fingers on the guitar to learn it.
i am wondering after looking at several old post regarding a guitar to use.

I currently own a Yamaha CG151S which is in great shape and maybe selling it .

I can purchase a Yamaha CG 171 SF for a couple of hundred dollars, which is in very good shape.

Should I sell and get the SF, or keep the 151 and put golpeadors on the top.

What is my best option??

I am trying to get about the same for my 151 as the SF is selling for.

I would go for the SF if I were you.

Thanks, I think I will get the SF.

I am also buying the Graff Martinez, J Martin series.

I own a Mariano Cordoba Flamenco Guitar instructional book published in 1971 that I picked up several years ago in a bookstore for $3. I guess it is out of print now.

I looked through the forum and found some information on him, and he appears to have a very good reputation as a guitarist.

I also own a lot of classical guitar literature.

Hopefully soon I can post some video of my progress.
