Centro Espanol de Washington is presenting their 15th annual Feria de Sevilla. Several local flamenco groups will be performing including:
Micaela Mar's Danzamarina
Natalia Monteleon's Arte Flamenco
Ana Martinez Flamenco Dance Company
Estela Velez's Furia Flamenca
There will also be kiosks selling food from the various regions of Spain. Of course there will be some paella, but the queues get long quickly!
There will be several casetas where you can dance Sevillanas all afternoon (to CD's or live guitar accompaniment).
The event will take place in the park next to Strathmore Hall so it is very metro-accessible (Grosvenor/Strathmore on the red line). Best of all, admission is FREE!
