Well, if thats the case, then I think the "many" are missing out on a whole lot of what this Forum has to offer!
I'm 77 years old, and have been studying flamenco music and playing flamenco guitar since the 1950's (with some layoffs). But, I think I've learned more in the one year I've been on here than I did over the past 60 or so reading books and listening to my old records. And further, I find it gives me a lot of inspiration to play.
If we'd had the resources of the Internet, instructional videos - and the kind of expert information thats readily available on this Forum - when I was first learning, I might have been another Nino Ricardo in twenty years or so (joke, of course), instead of a weird old creep struggling for sixty years to be an even mediocre beginner. (But that doesnt prevent me from enjoying the challenges and satisfaction of playing flamenco!)
You younger guys (& girls) dont know how lucky you are. . .
