Rogeliocan, In both posts I am stating that the thin, more flexible end of the string is tied on the Roller at the headstock. What I emphasized is that you do not wind the string completely, with many revolutions, on the roller. You put it through the hole, twist it a couple of times and turn the roller a couple of times, and the leftover string should not be cut off. It can be circled and curled on itself, or you can leave it dangling. Either way, if you save it, then when the string breaks at its thicker end, at the tie-block, which occasionally happens, you have enough string left to use it again, instead of having to use a brand new string.
