Impressive... I did notice that he definitely seemed to maintain his picado etc. moreso than many

Ramzi,

Yes he is quite awesome. An interesting thing is he just had surgery on his index finger of his right hand and they actually replaced the finger joint....I was concerned he wouldn't be able to do rasqueados hahaha.....yeah right, he kicked my butt all over the place....the surgery had no affect on his playing....for someone who is in his late 70's he really rocks!!!

Also he appears to be in such great shape for his age it is unreal....he was cracking jokes about me forgetting things.....he can still remember the last time we had a class over a year and a half ago...every single thing we went over is just as clear as if it were yesterday.....I can't remember anything....my mind is mush[:'(]

They don't make them like they used to. [:D]

How very nice. I truly admire him.

I have two of his books. I have learned "Tempestad" fairly well from his first book, and would like to master "Cueva Gitana" from his second book.

I am also trying to master Cueva Gitana. I've been practicing the ending falseta religiously over the past month. He plays with a unique twist on it -
