Hi guys, I’ve just booked a lesson with this new guy. Won’t mention his name. First he insults my Alhambra 10Fc saying its only good for firewood. Then he tells me I will have to start all over again like the rest! And I haven’t met him yet. Am I mad?[8D]

By the way Ron and Jim, Rafael sends his best – oh s**t now I’ve mentioned his name[:o].

I’ll let you know how it goes Ron, he was your recommendation after all

Hi Nigel,
I'd put my trust in what he says, I think he'll guide you the right way.
Rafa's an easy going guy, but is very strict on adherance to compás and rhythm and I feel his teaching style is a culmination of his own learning experience..ie he knows what works.
You'll get a really good, solid foundation to build on IMO, and in the long run you'll learn faster.
The guitar?
I wouldn't worry too much about that at the moment, that can be sold and replaced as you move on.
